Goodman & Nekvasil P.A., May Recover Investor Losses - Frank Javier Avitia (Frank Avitia) Fired by Securities America, Inc. 

From 2012 until Frank Avitia’s firing in 2013, Frank Avitia was licensed with Securities America, Inc. Frank Avitia was also licensed with Mutual Securities, Inc. and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated. According to FINRA’s records, Frank Avitia was fired by Securities America, Inc. on February 8, 2013. Securities America, Inc. reported to FINRA that Frank Avitia failed to respond to supervision requests and became dually registered with another Firm.

FINRA also reports that a complaint involving Frank Avitia’s conduct with a prior employer was filed, alleging Frank Avitia made unsuitable investments resulting in approximately $600,000 in losses. This complaint settled for $125,000.
