Edward Painter has been licensed with UBS Financial Services, Inc., Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., and Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Edward Painter was barred from the securities and investment banking industry by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) on February 1, 2016. FINRA reports that Edward Painter failed to comply with an arbitration award or settlement agreement or to satisfactorily respond to a FINRA request to provide information concerning the status of compliance.
FINRA reports that a complaint involving Edward Painter’s conduct with UBS Financial Services, Inc. was filed, alleging failure to follow instructions. This complaint was settled.
FINRA also reports that Edward Painter has an outstanding tax lien held against him by the IRS in the amount of $21,260,789.
