From 2010 until his firing in 2015, Jonothon Lieberman was licensed with Rockwell Global Capital, LLC. According to FINRA’s records, Jonothon Lieberman was fired by Rockwell Global Capital, LLC on January 14, 2015. Rockwell Global Capital, LLC reported to FINRA that following a customer complaint alleging an unauthorized trade, Jonothon Lieberman corresponded with the customer using Jonothon Lieberman’s private e-mail account. This action by Jonothon Lieberman was against Rockwell Global Capital, LLC’s written supervisory procedures.
Following Jonothon Lieberman’s discharge by Rockwell Global Capital, LLC, FINRA investigated Jonothon Lieberman and brought a disciplinary action against Jonothon Lieberman. Jonothon Lieberman was barred from the securities and investment banking industry in May 2016. Jonothon Lieberman consented to findings that he refused to provide documents and information, to appear for an on-the-record testimony, and to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation concerning various potential sales practice violations.
FINRA reports that two arbitration claims were filed alleging unauthorized trading, unsuitable investments and negligence by Jonothon Lieberman, while Jonothon Lieberman was with Rockwell Global Capital, LLC. These claims involving Jonothon Lieberman were settled for $150,000 and $32,881.12. FINRA also reports that another arbitration involving Jonothon Lieberman’s conduct is pending with alleged damages of $201,095.13.
