Chris Kubiak was a formerly licensed financial advisor with Freedom Investors Corp. from 1989 to 2017. FINRA reports that Mitchell Kurtz was barred from the securities industry in 2018. FINRA reports that Chris Kubiak consented to the sanction and to the entry of findings that Chris Kubiak converted customer funds. The findings stated that four customers, including three seniors, gave funds to Kubiak totaling approximately $270,000 to invest on their behalf. According to FINRA, Chris Kubiak, however, deposited the funds into his personal bank account and then used them for his own personal use, including to gamble and to pay for personal medical bills.
