Shawn Patrick Casuccio (CRD # 4193661, Registered Representative, Fairmont, West Virginia) was barred from association with any FINRA member in any capacity. The sanction was based on findings that Casuccio made material misrepresentations to induce customers to invest approximately $723,000 in fictitious investments. The findings stated that rather than investing the money, Casuccio deposited approximately $667,000 in his personal bank account for his own use and benefit. The findings also stated that Casuccio made payments totaling approximately $56,000 to customers, telling them that these payments were either interest earned or a return on their investments.
