Bryan David Budvitis (CRD # 4216953, Registered Representative, Aurora, Illinois) was barred from association with any FINRA member in any capacity. The sanction was based on findings that Budvitis misappropriated a total of $26,500 from a customer’s account by completing Client Verbal Instructions Forms requesting that a check be issued to his family member, and funds transferred from the customer’s account to his family member’s account without the customer’s permission or authority. The findings stated that Budvitis misappropriated an additional $40,000 but later issued a stop payment on a check and deposited a cashier’s check for the withdrawn funds back in the customer’s account. The findings also stated that Budvitis failed to respond to FINRA requests for information and to testify at an on-the-record interview.
