Our firm is currently preparing arbitration claims on behalf of investors who invested in Provident Royalties, and its subsidiary, Shale Royalties, Inc. The Securities and Exchange Commission has filed a lawsuit, alleging that Provident Royalties constitutes a Ponzi scheme. We believe that material risks were not disclosed to investors and that the investments were high risk, illiquid investments, unsuitable for conservative investors, and that the investors were led to believe that investment funds wold be placed in oil and gas investments, when in fact, the funds were commingled with funds derived from the private placement offerings and used to pay promised returns to earlier investors.
