Allerton Towne (CRD # 1212315, Registered Representative, Boca Raton, Florida) was barred from association with any FINRA member in any capacity. The sanction was based on findings that Towne intentionally, and without authorization, converted $4,181.81 from a customer account to the account of a corporation he owned with the same name, and used the funds for personal expenditures. The findings stated that Towne engaged in outside business activities, for compensation, and failed to notify his member firm. The findings also stated that Towne failed to respond to FINRA requests for documents.
